Representing our local customer FATS managed the importation, customs clearing and abnormal transport of their mining equipment and machinery to final destination at Rustenburg, South Africa.
The 3 items of project cargo arrived by breakbulk vessel into the Port of Durban on a sunny Saturday afternoon, the FATS team were on standby on the quay to welcome the vessel and her cargo from China, just one of the superior services FATS offers to our customers.
Throughout the discharge operations, FATS team monitored and remained in attendance ensuring updated information is passed onto our customer for the progress of the discharge of their cargo. Once on quay FATS team alongside with the appointed Marine Surveyor inspected and reported on the cargo’s condition prior to loading to abnormal transport.
The three units were successfully delivered at the customers premises within the set time frame.
